Period of performance
The term of this contract is for a period of one (1) year, after which the State shall have the option to renew this contact, at its sole discretion, for up to four (4) additional one-year periods. The maximum length of this contract is from September 15, 2005 through September 14, 2010.
Scope of Contract
This is a statewide term contract to provide senior, certified project managers on a temporary basis to direct/manage the implementation of minor, small, major, multi-agency and enterprise information technology (IT) projects for state agencies. Political subdivisions may also use the project management services provided under this contract, at their discretion.
As awarded, AiTS will provide Project Management Services for Minor Projects - less than 50,000 and Project Management Services Small Projects - $50,000 to $1,000,000.
Minor technology projects are generally projects having a cumulative investment in projects up to $50,000. Small technology projects are generally projects having a cumulative investment in technology greater than $50,000 but less than $1,000,000.
Position Descriptions and Qualifications
Project Manager
The Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities
of a project team and ensure that project deliverables meet requirements
defined in the SOW and other appropriate documents. He or she serves as the
principal liaison with the agency and other participants (i.e., contractors,
technical leads, end users, etc.) in the project. He or she will ensure
that the project management methodology established or approved by the PMSG
in the Division of the CIO is adhered to in conducting all project activities.
The Project Manager shall provide the following:
- Prepare and maintain the project plan, project budget, and schedule
- Maintain an active role in the integration among the individual teams
- Communicate project status to the agency management and project team
- Accumulate, evaluate, document, and propose changes to project baseline
- Manage the change management and issue resolution processes
- Ensure full implementation of project plan
- Oversee ongoing needs and support requirements of project team
