AiTS Wins Contract with U.S. Department of State
Company to Develop President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief Website
Reston, VA --July 18, 2006-- American Information Technology Solutions Corporation (AiTS) today announced that the company has been awarded a contract with the U.S. Department of State (DOS) to develop the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) website (www.pepfar.gov). This website will serve as a primary source of information about the PEPFAR program for the general public and other program stakeholders. As such, it is an essential element of the PEPFAR program’s five year, $15 billion commitment to fight the spread of AIDS throughout the world. AiTS will be responsible for developing the PEPFAR website, integrating it with the DOS’ proprietary content management system (CMS), and implementing functional enhancements to the DOS CMS.
In announcing this contract award, AiTS Vice-President and COO James Bogaty stated, “We are pleased to have won this opportunity to execute a high profile project for an important initiative within the federal government.” Mr. Bogaty further stated, “This award marks a significant milestone in AiTS’ efforts to expand our service offerings to the public sector. This award is the first contract AiTS has won as a prime contractor to the federal government. AiTS has also served public sector customers through IT services contracts with the states of Delaware, Texas, and South Carolina. In addition, AiTS has prior experience with state government agencies in New York, Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas through our corporate parent, Indotronix International Corporation (IIC).
