AiTS Wins State of South Carolina Project Management Services Contract
Award Expands AiTS' State/Local Government Services to State of South Carolina Government Agencies
WASHINGTON -- Sept. 14,
2005--AiTS has been awarded a multi-vendor contract with an estimated
value of $5
million to provide project management services
for state agencies and other political subdivisions within the state
of South Carolina. Under this contract, state agencies may select AiTS
to provide certified senior project managers on a temporary basis to
direct/manage the implementation of minor and small information technology
(IT) projects for state agencies. This is an initial 1-year contract
that is renewable for four additional one-year periods.
According to James Bogaty, Vice President and COO of AiTS, "AiTS is extremely pleased to have been selected to perform under this contract. With the addition of the South Carolina contract, the range of contract vehicles that AiTS offers state and local government agencies has expanded significantly. State and local governments can also purchase AiTS' services via the company's GSA Information Technology Schedule 70, as authorized by the cooperative purchasing provisions of the federal E-Government Act of 2002.
AiTS currently provides IT project support to state agencies in Delaware, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, and Texas. AiTS holds a Delaware Technical Services and Staffing contract and a Texas TXMAS IT Services contract in addition to the new South Carolina contract.
