New United Coalition
Team Builds Strength and Diversity in Solution Sets for
the Government IT Marketplace
RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 12, 2003
-- American Information Technology Solutions (AiTS) today
announced the addition of five new partners to its New United
Coalition (NuCO) family. New partners include Amer Technology
Corporation (ATI), Computer Projects of Illinois Inc. (CPI),
DCM Communications, Data Networks, and Audiopoint Inc.
Recognizing a need for a whole new model
of agile and nimble companies to address the growing demands
of the government marketplace, especially in the areas of
security and complex systems integration, AiTS brings a
high level of expertise to the government sector in a way
that covers a broad IT solution set. This is supported by
large, medium, and set aside entities including HUBZone,
8(a), Service Disabled Veteran, Woman-owned, SDB, MBE, and
Native American / Buy Indian companies that are armed with
procurement vehicles covering a broad spectrum of IT solutions
and tailored to wide range of government agency acquisition
policies.
AiTS welcomes the following companies
to the NuCO team:
ATI is an 8(a), Texas HUBZone company
currently servicing the Veteran Administration, and state
and local governments.
CPI is a small business focused on law
enforcement data and voice messaging and collaboration
systems for agencies including: INS, Navy, DOJ, USPS,
and law enforcement agencies in 24 states.
DCM is a Woman-owned, small value added
reseller of converged voice, data, and video telecommunications
platforms (Avaya) and counts the Bush White House as one
of their current customers.
Data Networks provides solutions that encompass network
deployment and management, application services, fault tolerance, security
and other value-added technology services to 4300 public agencies and
educational institutions.
Audiopoint is a leading speech applications
technology company that focuses on Section 508 opportunities
and hosts large scale commercial voice applications for
ISP clients such as EarthLink, PatriotNet and Primary
Network.
Existing NuCO family members include Indotronix
International Corporation (IIC), 4Front Security, Support
Services International (SSI), Shell Information Systems
(SISI), Sonic Telecom, Merritt Group, E2 Solutions, LTI,
CNC, Enable Business Solutions and Dynamic States.
"By joining NuCO, Audiopoint now has
a voice in the government market that we would not normally
have had due to the enormous time it would take us to ramp
up to the level that NuCO provides right out of the gate,"
said Brian L. Lichorowic, CEO of Audiopoint. "By working
together with our other partners, an overall solution to
any government market need can be compiled and offered in
a fraction of the time."
Joyce Nohowel, President of DCM Communications,
and Jim Bogaty, COO of AiTS, have had a long standing strategic
relationship that has endured the recent anomalies of the
IT industry. "I know Jim's work ethic and dedication
to quality. He literally has invented quality standards
and processes far exceeding customers' expectations, enabling
sustained growth during troubled times. It was a natural
for me to integrate the highest quality converged communication
solutions with his IT solutions," Nohowel explained.
"Our goal at Data Networks is to strengthen
our presence in the federal market through valuable relationships
with other technology providers," said Jamie O'Brien,
Director of Sales for Data Networks. "AiTS' approach
to small business consortiums via NuCO allows Data Networks
and others to package our competencies in order to effectively
compete for contracts currently dominated by larger systems
integrators."
Bogaty added, "This partnership growth
announcement, coupled with AiTS' "Operation Jarhead"
channel strategy, will create new opportunities for NuCO
companies to deploy services and products more rapidly to
the public sector. Operation Jarhead's vertical envelopment
approach represents a bold new step forward in joint NuCO
partner sales tactics through the deployment of a larger
sales force armed with more services and solutions to offer
the Government customer. Operation Jarhead provides AiTS
a tremendous versatility in responding to anticipated government
business opportunities. Members of AiTS' NuCO team plan
to go after targets of opportunity, breaking down into smaller
teams as necessary to mix and match their skills to available
contracts. With teaming agreements already in place, we
can react very quickly to top Government solicitations."
